The BCA is proud to announce its first annual Young Filmmakers Festival.  We’re looking for Massachusetts filmmakers ages 16-20, to submit their short films and videos. Submissions will be judged by a jury of film professionals and the winning films will be shown at an awards reception and screening in the spring.  Top filmmakers will also receive significant prizes to encourage their next filmmaking endeavors.

The Young Filmmakers Festival is designed to create an environment in which young artists can benefit from the knowledge of experienced filmmakers, come together to share ideas with their peers, and have an opportunity to show their work to the public under the sophisticated artistic mantle of the BCA.

It is the aim of this festival to help young filmmakers cultivate their artistic processes while simultaneously becoming the first step in establishing the BCA as a center for artistic film presentation.
